Dr. Lawrence Venet

Dr. Venet received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University College of Dentistry in 2002. He then relocated to North Carolina to work as a dentist in the state´s Rural Health Services program. For two years, he worked for the underserved residents and migrant farm workers in Nash County, North Carolina. He found the experience to be very rewarding and a way to give back to the community. While working as an associate dentist, he became inspired to open his own practice. Shortly thereafter, he began to research the Garner area and laid the groundwork to fulfill his dream. In December 2005, he opened the doors to Venet Family Dentistry. On Valentine´s Day 2006, Dr. Venet married his dental school sweetheart, Dr. Tracie L. Vaughan. Together, they practice dentistry and run the day-to-day operations of Venet Family Dentistry.

Dr. Vaughan graduated from Howard University College of Dentistry in 2002. She relocated to North Carolina shortly thereafter to work as a dentist in the state´s Rural Health Services program. For four years, she worked to provide much-needed dental care to underserved residents and migrant farm workers in Wilson and Nash counties. She enjoyed making a difference in the lives of the people she served and found that experience to be very rewarding. In 2007, she joined her husband, Dr. Lawrence Venet, at their practice in Garner, North Carolina.
